As insurance professionals we need to consider the impact an accident would have on the financial well being of our family. With this in mind AIP has teamed with Unum to provide Colonial Representatives and their family members with AD&D coverage. This plan provides coverage 24 hours per day, 365 days a year, both on and off the job and is available for the Representative and Family. Guarantee Issue for Representatives, Spouses and Children

Within the first 30 days of contracting with Colonial Life, Insurance Representatives may purchase $150,000 of AD&D coverage for themselves and/or their family. Minimum purchase is $50,000.

How beneficiaries are paid for

  • If you have a spouse with no dependant children - spouse benefit = 50%
  • If you have dependant children and no spouse - child(ren) benefit = 15%
  • If you have a spouse and dependant children - spouse benefit = 40% child(ren) benefit = 10%
